I really wanted this lower cut Bronx. No one had it- so I ordered the mid cut. Not “Keen” on it. Two things made it so easy. Free return postage with label (US postage- leave for the mailman) and being able to put in a request to Zappos for when they did get in the shoe (style and size) I desired. They contacted me! The shoes felt alittle wide and short for two days. They are now perfect. I ordered my normal size and width.

although they are not the most beautiful shoes, I wear them all the time. They are great for walking as well as standing: I’m a RN and am on my feet most of the day and I find that my feet don’t ache at the end of a long workday.

Good looking, tough, all purpose – I have a very active job that involes all sorts of physical activity with looking professional and working in a very elevated setting. These shoes are the awnser. I can climb a ladder and then put on my suit jacket with out changing my shoes and walk into a meeting.

Fabulous comfort, support and looks! I am extremely happy with the Keen Bronx that I recently puchased. I have worn other Keen shoes, and have loved all of them! Cole Haan Tucker Venetian Shoe. I wear the Bronx for everything from walking my dog to light trail hiking. They are a great, versatile, and extremely comfortable shoe; and the lacing system allows you to adjust to a perfect snugness. The Bronx is simply terrific!

I want pure foot comfort when I purchase a shoe from the moment I put it on. No break in time allowed by me for any reason! Loved the wider toe box so no squeezed “piggies” and the softness and flexibility of the leather.

I purchased these via Zappos.com before going on a trip abroad during which I knew I’d be doing a lot of walking. The shoes were remarkably comfortable from the moment I put them on. The footbed and structure support the foot in a way I don’t think my feet had ever felt before, not even with hiking boots. I experienced only comfort with these shoes, no blisters or anything, and my feet never felt fatigued. At first I thought the look was a little clownish, in that the front of the shoe is kind of bulbous. However, I have come to love the look — funky and fun but not distracting. These are great shoes and I recommend them highly.

The “Bronx” Rocks! This shoe is AWESOME! I was glad that I read the other reviews and orderd 1/2 size larger than I normally wear. Otherwise, the fit is fantastic and they are very comfortable right out of the box! I’m gonna be purchasing more Keens very soon! I plan on being the “Keen Queen”!

From Seattle, WA – I love this shoe! I love the funky style of the Keen Bronx shoe (I have both the black and the plum), yet it is still classic enough to wear in my job as a school teacher – and the fact that they are waterproof is a bonus during the rainy Seattle winter. I am a true size 8.5, and having tried both the 8.5 and the 9, I prefer the 8.5. The 9 was just too roomy in the toe (by a good 1/2 – 3/4 inch in length, with lots of “head room”), and I felt like I was wearing clown shoes. Ironically, the roomy toe is also probably the reason why I can wear the 8.5 and not have it feel small (I’m about 1/4 inch away from the end of the shoe, but in no way cramped). I find the 8.5 to be the perfect fit for me. If you don’t mind a good bit of extra toe room, however, the 9 is probably the way to go.

Another Bronx Cheer – I am the queen of Keens, and as such I can tell you that the Keen Bronx (low & high) are the most comfortable shoe in the Keen line. Cole Haan Tucker Venetian Shoes. There’s no break-in time with these shoes–they’re completely comfortable right out of the box. The front is wide, the back does not slip, the leather is very soft. These are shoes one can wear all day, and still want to wear in the evening.

These are the first pair of medium width women’s shoes that I can actually wear! I normally have to wear WW or WWW shoes, which truly limits the style selection. This brand is wide enough, very supportive, lightweight, and look great! I must get more!

These are Gotta Haves! We spent the summer in our Keen sandals and when Fall came around, I had to have the lace-up Keens in burgundy; my girlfriend had to have the moss. Well worth the price. Absolutely love them.

The Best Yet. This is my sixth pair of Keens in 6 months. I usually wear a size 9 but ordered a 9.5 and it’s perfect. They were comfortable from the first time I slipped them on. They are as comfortable as my well worn Ugg slippers. I purchased the green and it’s a great neutral for fall.

Comfort and style – In the last few months I have bought three pairs of Keens (two of which are the Bronx). They are incredibly comfortable, which is helpful because I am on my feet a bunch as a teacher. In addition, they are stylish, which is often hard to find in a comfortable shoe.

Fantastic – The best shoe in my closet right now!! Comfortable, cute, and practical. I wait tables and these are the first pair of shoes I’ve had that my feet don’t hurt at the end of the day.

Excellent Shoe – I love the Keen brand shoe. Shoes tend to be narrow for me not because I have wide feet but because I have a very high arch. My first brand of Keens were the Newports which fit like a glove and have great cushioning so I tried the Bronx. It took a bit of back and forth to get the size right, they run small, but I got a half size up from my true size and they are great. A very roomy toe box and that great last make them stylish and very comfortable for walking and being on your feet for long periods. I’ve just ordered my third pair of Keens so, I guess I’m hooked. My true size is 9.5, my Newports are 9′s, my Bronx are 10′s. Take the time to get your size right, so easy with Zappos easy order and return policy, and you will have a brand of shoe you love!
