These are almost as comfortable as the Professionals, and probably come as close as a sandal can. The back strap is a bit loose, but that is taken care of by the adjustable front strap. I am picky about shoe fit, so gave this only four stars (as compared with the 5-star Professional) but really I think this shoe is going to work out well.

GREAT SHOE - This is an incredible pair of shoes. I love the style and the overall comfort. I have lower back problems so I can’t wear just any shoe; I can wear Dansko Margaret all day without any problems and can feel well all day long. Thank you!

Cutesy for Granola Footwear
These are great! Very nice arch support and openness accommodates my high instep, too! I’ve worn them everyday since receiving them a month ago and I will look forward to wearing them with socks (yeah–that’s right!) in the cooler weather.

Funky and comfortable - These shoes arrived and I started wearing them everywhere - with light socks when the weather was cooler, now with no socks in spring. They are incredibly comfortable and only rubbed a little bit with the first day of bare feet. Cole Haan Darla PumpsI wear them with cropped pants, work pants, and skirts and, even though I’m all retro funky, get compliments on them. The stylish woman’s orthopedic shoe! I am a 9.5 and wear a 40 in these (and all Danskos).

Having had 3 operations on my feet for hammer toes and bunions, with pins inserted and one toe that sticks up (nothing can be done), I understandably require shoes that fit well. Dansko doesn’t let me down. The Margrete is one of the most comfortable shoes I own (among several other Dansko shoes). They fit true to size and are extremely comfortable (with no break-in time) and they look just terrific, especially in black. I work in New York City and am continuously walking–including a very long walk to my commute. I recommend these shoes to everyone! Dansko rocks! - Darla

Extreme comfort - I bought these shoes and immediately left on a training run that had me on my feet for 4 days. Worked great! Same foot bed as my old sandals (Molly, I think), so I knew they would be comfortable right away and they were. Look great with dressier clothes; the closed toe is perfect, they work with socks or not. Highly recommend.

Since I wear orthotics, wearing more open, sandal type shoes is a problem. Fortunately, Dansko shoes provide the support I need without orthotics. The Margrete clog is wonderful, both comfortable and attractive. I’ve been wearing them constantly!

I basically love this shoe - I already owned a pair of the Margrete (size 40 in black nubuck) and have had them about 8 years- I walked all over London, New York in comfort, without blisters or foot tiredness. Alas, my old pair was looking a little worn and I decided to get a new pair. This time I ordered the next size up (41 in the black leather). I ended up keeping them but they are really too big for my size 9 1/2-10 feet. Cole Haan Darls Pump. The size 40 actually fit better but my toes were touching the front of the shoe. But the next size up is actually much bigger and I don’t think I’ll be wearing them as much as my old ones. The support in the Dansko’s is unmatched by any other shoe I’ve tried (Mephisto, Merrell, Clarks, Born).

Cute walking shoe - I was surprised how comfortable these shoes can be! I trekked all over northern Italy last summer, and these were the only shoes I took with me. The only drawback is that it rubs on the outside of my toes, but as I wear them more and more, it has lessened. These look really cute and stylish, and are comfortable, too. A definite winner.

Dansko Margrete = comfort that lasts! These shoes really take the cake in minimizing the duration of sore feet after a long days work. I have wide, flat feet and I LOVE these! There was some initial friction on the sides of my toes but its gone now. The only shoe to wear if you are on your feet all day.

Cute and stylish - just what the others said in their reviews which is why I bought these…I love Dansko products…they never disappoint and for a woman with feet that get tired easily, these are a delight as are my 2 pair of clogs and 2 pair of summer sandals…the back strap is a tad loose but that is so w/ the sandals and the ankle strap handles that problem…wore them only 2 days and had numerous compliments…a woman friend who doesn’t spend a lot of money on shoes is going to Zappos for her own pair!!!! I might like another color…and Zappos keeps it promise with on time delivery.

These would have been perfect… If only they were sized properly! I wear a size 12 and was excited to find these listed in my size. They would have been just the thing for a trip to Europe. Their wonderful service got them to me in time but they were, I’d guess, a full size too small! I hope that some day Dansko will make these to fit. It’s very frustrating. The shoes look wonderful for comfort with a little style. Cole Haan Darla Pump

Excellent- I had decided to buy this shoe but found it very difficult to find in stock in my size. 2 places would have to order it for me, but it was on back order. Zappos had the shoe and had free shipping. I was excited to receive them so quickly. I have worn them several times already.
