  1. Julie Says:

Very comfortable and supportive - I’ve been searching for a comfortable walking sandal, and this is it! I have a wide foot and love the adjustability that the velcro straps provide. It took me a couple of wears to get used to the ankle strap in front, but I love the ankle support and the sandal is very secure on my foot. It has great arch support as well. I wear a size 7 and ordered a 7.

  2. Debbie Says:

Comfortable - Wore these two days straight during a recent vacation and they held up well. They have good arch support, and three different ways to adjust the fit. Quick on off for airport security, and looked well with a skirt (okay, I looked like a tourist, but it was a touristy area, so I fit in well). I wear an 8 to 8.5, and ordered the 8.5 and they were fine. Brindee Short Boot

  3. Amy Says:

Great shoe - This is such a comfortable sandal. I have a very bad heel and my doctor recommended this brand to me and he was right. Plenty of cushion and feel great on. I had the sandals the next day after ordering them. They fit true to size although a little wide. But I love them.

  4. Stephanie Says:

Love these sandals! The Teva shoes have a softer sole than the Chaco sandals and easier on a low instep/arch. I love the easy ability to adjust every area of fit with the velcro, the straps do not cut in like the old Teva shoes did. These are great for everyday, all day walking, and I can’t wait to take them to Hawaii on my vacation in August!!

  5. Kimo Says:

These Cole Haan Brindee Boots are the BEST! I have about 10 pairs of various Teva sandals from over the years. The Terra-Fi2 quickly became my favorite. Out of the box I walked for 1 hour in them with no problems. They are comfortable, good arch support and CUTE even for my size 11 feet! Many compliments - I love them!

  6. Betsy Says:

I am recuperating from a broken my ankle and needed a pair of shoes that would accommodate a swollen foot, so the Tevas worked out great. They are very sturdy, look great if you’re not looking for something dainty, and feel as solid as a shoe. In fact, I like them so much, I’m sure I’ll continue wearing them even after the foot is normal sized again.

  7. Roseville Says:

These are great sandals. They are as comfortable as a walking shoe. They also offer great support and cushioning which is why I bought them. I like a sandal that offers more stability than a flip-flop. They look great with shorts, pants and capris. I work with pre-schoolers and have to be quick on my feet and be able to climb play structures and these Terra-Fi’s fit the bill!

  8. Chicago Says:

Awesome!!! I purchased these shoes with the intention of wearing them around Disneyworld. I did not break them in at all; as it was not warm enough in Chicago to do so-but they were great and needed no breaking-in at all!! I wore them for 5 days straight for 10 plus hours at the parks and they were the best shoes ever. No aching feet!! I can’t even say that about my favorite gym shoes. I say pay the extra money for the top of the line Teva’s - you won’t be disappointed!!

  9. Kathy Says:

Comfortable - The shoe feels great. I was worried about the size tag underneath the instep strap from other reviews, but it is not a problem for me. My foot tends to run a little wide, so I usually have to get shoes one size bigger for comfort. I ordered a 1/2 size smaller because of the design, but I still had to order another 1/2 size smaller to have a perfect fit.

  10. Indiana Says:

FANTASTIC!!!!!! I’ve never spent this much on sandals before, but I had heard that Teva’s were a pretty good shoe. Actually, they are unbelievable! The size was true to size and they feel fantastic on my feet. I got these on a Monday and wore them on a field trip the next day, walking all day on both gravel and paved surfaces. My feet didn’t hurt at all the entire day or the next day. This really is a great shoe. Also, the shipping was very fast. Ordered at 10:00 pm on a SATURDAY night and they were waiting for me when I got home from work on MONDAY!

  11. Norfolk Says:

I have only worn the Terra-Fi once so far. They are very comfortable. They have the potential to be wonderful all day hiking sandals. The fit is adjustable, but the straps are almost too long when cinched up for a narrow foot. I had ordered both 12 and 11 as other reviewers said that they were a size smaller than marked. I returned the 12 as they seemed true to size.

  12. South Dakota Says:

Comfortable, functional, and stylish - These shoes were an exact fit. They do not look bulky on your feet as some other sandals of this type can look. They are comfortable enough to wear walking around all day and I have even been biking and running in them several times. I was concerned about spending this much on a pair of casual sandals but I am very pleased with my purchase. –Bonus… they don’t ever get rocks inside them. : ) Brindee Boot

  13. Los Angeles Says:

Function over Form - With these shoes I think I finally have earned my credentials as an official fashion slave. This review will sound nuts, I know, but I doubt I’m the only daffy ditz who thinks — or dreams — this way. Yes, they’re comfortable… with all that industrial padding behind the straps at all the friction points on the foot, they would have to be. They’d better be comfortable. Theoretically, comfort is what they’re all about. But Land’s End and LL Bean have copies of this shoe at a lot less than even half the price. And they’re comfortable too. You can also get Teva knock offs at places like Target. So why THIS one? Well, it IS a “Teva.” And don’t we all have to have the REAL Teva and not a copy? And colors — there are many. I got orange. Or rather that blazing “Mikan Coral.” (Now what on earth is MIKAN coral? Have YOU ever heard of it? Is that like Vulcan coral?) Bur orange “goes” with everything. You know: camo, canteens, hard hats, wetsuits… (Oh! I confess. I am such a phony and such an Imelda!) This shoe makes my slight calf look exactly as slight as it is. It isn’t even flattering, and it does nothing for my legs or feet. It is not sexy unless you think tires are sexy. No animal in it, either, if that’s a plus to you (I didn’t care.) There are other shoes that are as comfortable and functional. The only reason I had to have this one — and I REALLY did HAVE to have it– is some perverted form of fashion sense. You can’t even call it “cute.” But it does do what it is supposed to do, and it does it very well, at least in the 15 minutes I wore it around the living room on my Persian rug, and I like the shoe, and believe that I will wear it all the places it was meant to be worn (I bought their baloney… If I buy the shoe, I will go there, right?), head full of the adventurous images of derring do and romance with which Madison Avenue has so creatively imbued this hiking water sandal. (Trekking through the tributaries of the Salmon River in the summer??? The Green? The Amazon?? The Malibu tide pools) –Jumping out of my Jeep and hopping over Gila Monsters in dry deserts of Arizona or New Mexico? More likely I will don safari shorts as I sally forth to the stores of Foothill Boulevard. But, in my mind, I will be spearing alligators in the everglades, knowing that my feet will be planted securely in the rocky bottom of the river of life.

  14. Cleveland Says:

This is my first pair of 2’s; I have 3 pairs of 1’s that are still in active use. The shape of the shoe is totally different now — there’s a heel cup and the forefoot/toe area is much narrower. Because of these changes, I found I had to go up a 1/2 size in order for the arch to fit properly (I’m a 7 in the 1’s and a 7 1/2 in the 2’s). I got a blister on the bottom of my foot the first time I wore them but that may be b/c I hadn’t worn sandals in awhile. I agree that the tag is scratchy and needs to be taped/removed. Overall the sandal is comfortable & has great arch support. I’ve hiked many miles in all my Tevas. I must say I prefer the 1’s but I’m sure I’ll get used to the 2’s.
