Love this shoe! Please Dansko, don’t ever stop making this shoe, just add more colors! So comfy, so cute, the perfect shoe. I can wear either a 39 or a 40 in these (I have 3 pairs) depending (size 9/9.5 foot). Dansko sizing can be inconsistent. I have an old pair in Dogbone (beige nubuck) that were my very favorites until they got too dirty and the cat put teethmarks in them. I still have them, I can’t bear to throw them out. If only I could get them in this color again!

Teacher-friendly – I wear these to work in a very old, hot high school building and put many miles on them in a day. They’re great because they’re comfortable, stylish and have a closed-toe with a strap that keeps them on your feet. I like them so much that I am wearing them almost every day now.

I was skeptical at first – thought these would just be another uncomfortable sandal. But to my surprise, they were as comfy as Dansko Professional clogs are – perhaps even more so, due to the padded insole. One complaint, though – when I wear them without socks, they’re squeaky! Excellent Closed Toe Clog Sandal – I wear a size 9.5 A. In European sizes that is a 41. Dansko calls 9.5-10 a size 40. I wear a 40 in all Dansko’s, except some of their stapled clogs. There is some variation in the fit due to being hand made I guess. Mostly I wear Narrow Pros in size 40, but occasionally I get a pair where my toes run right up to the front and a 41 fits better. I chose to go with a 41 in the Margrete, because the ankle strap controls the position of my foot within the shoe. This was a good choice for me; my foot can not slide forward too far and cause my toes to pinch. This sandal is an okay choice for narrow feet, since so many Danskos are too wide. I will be wearing these with socks due to my narrow feet, but if your foot is a true medium width, they will work great with nylons. The comfort level is very good. Very stable support if you have had toe/bunion surgery.

Best shoes ever! I got these based on several people’s recommendations, and I was not disappointed. I recently wore them through hours of walking each day on a trip to Paris, and they were great! I normally stick with sneakers when I’ll be walking so much, and I was thrilled that these worked so well. The arch support is wonderful, and these shoes are SO CUTE! I really love how the rounded toe and the ankle strap look – they make me happy every time I look down at my feet!
