latigo issues - The band over the instep is too tight for my feet. I need a size 7 for length, but purchased an 8 because the 7 hurt significantly on the top of my foot in that area. The 8 is long enough that they are a little difficult to walk in outside where the ground is uneven. I think they would be very comfortable if they were a little more roomy over the instep so I could get the correct length. They are fine now for about an hour, but the comfort declines with time. The arch could be a little higher, Beautiful color. Great leather and very pleasing design. Seem to be made well. Am not as pleased with them as are my daughters who love their shoes and convinced me to try them. I wish I loved their feel because I think they are attractive.

Good for wide feet, too - I now own four pairs of this shoe. With double wide feet, high arches, and a collection of joint problems, I have trouble finding comfortable shoes that are age appropriate for someone in their early 30s. This is by far and away the most comfortable and multipurpose shoe I own. I wear them in all four seasons with everything from dress pants to capris and get compliments all the time. Those with wide feet and/or high arches will need to wear them with fairly thin socks (no-show socks are great for summer), although they do break in a bit. I normally wear a 10WW, but find an 11 (41 Eu) to be a perfect fit in this style.

Very comfortable shoe - I did the big new shoe no-no and walked a few blocks in these. I had tried them on at home and they just felt so comfortable! I didn’t regret it one big. The only thing is that my socks got a bit red from the leather… These clocks are very comfortable!

Well made, good looking, comfortable shoe - As a college instructor, I spend a lot of time on my feet, so I’m usually on the lookout for shoes that look nice enough to wear to work, but that don’t kill my feet. The Danskos definitely fit the bill. I’ve had them for about two weeks now and find that they leave my feet and legs feeling refreshed after a day’s lecturing. For the shape of my foot, I would prefer that the heel be a bit narrower so that the shoe doesn’t slip as I walk quite as much, but this really isn’t an issue. The toe box is roomy and the shape of the sole is good, allowing you to rock yourself forward as you walk. I’m an in between size, just about a 7.5 in an US shoe, so I originally ordered an 8 to compensate for the smaller European sizing, but exactly the opposite turned out to be true for the Dansko: their size 8 is probably a bit bigger than a US 8. So if you’re a half size, order down, not up. This holds true for the widths as well.

hese are really comfortable! I’m on a large college campus and my feet don’t hurt after walking around all day when I wear these shoes. I’m hoping to get a few more pairs in different colors eventually. I wear a nine and i bought a size 40.

These are incredibly comfortable shoes. They are great for slipping off and on when you need them, but they are also fashionable enough to wear out on the town. I was also suprised at how secure they feel on wet ground, which is nice in rainy Seattle.

Love these shoes! I had a pair of the cordovan, but the top of one of the shoes kind of collapsed, so I returned them. I saw the red ones online, had never ordered from Zappos and was completely satisfied. It’s especially nice that you can return shoes without paying postage if the shoes don’t work out. I’d definitely order from them again. These shoes are great. I love them! I plan to order more Danskos in the future. I got the 40s and normally wear size 9 12/. They’re perfect and the red is a great shade. I wear them almost every day.

These shoes changed my life - I first got a pair of clogs about a year and a half ago when I was having chronic back and foot pain. I live in the city, and at minimum I will walk 2-3 miles a day. Also, I run around a lot at work on hard marble floors which only makes things worse. Since I started wearing danskos, I have had NO problems, NONE! I prefer to wear them instead of sneakers in most situations, in fact I only wear my sneakers at the gym. The latest pair that I got were the butterscotch clogs, which are SO CUTE!! It is great to have a light colored pair to go with more outfits, and they will look great in the summer too. If it is your first pair, you might want to go to a specialty store to try them on so they can explain to you why they fit different than shoes you have worn in the past. Nice shoe overall - The only problem I had with these shoes is that they turned out to have a little bit more orange-red in the color than it appears on the web site. Maybe the color will change over time. The shoes are VERY comfortable, but they do take a litte while to break in.
